The Junior League of Boca Raton has announced its nominees for the 28th annual “Woman Volunteer of the Year.”
The luncheon celebrates local women in the community and recognizes nominees from nonprofits throughout Palm Beach County for their dedication and expertise as volunteers. Promoting voluntarism and furthering the potential of women are missions of Junior League of Boca Raton, and this event is the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year.
The winner will be announced Nov. 6 at Boca Raton Resort & Club, 501 E Camino Real. The event will begin with a reception, silent auction and raffle at 10:30 a.m. The luncheon, starting at 11:30 a.m., will kick-off with a runway show featuring New Zealand-born designer Rebecca Taylor’s Spring 2016 collection. Taylor will also be on hand at the event.
“Woman Volunteer of the Year” is co-chaired by Debbie Abrams and Elizabeth Kelley Grace, with Deb Tarrant serving as the honorary chairwoman. Committee members are Suzanne Bower, Jennifer Dardano, Natasha Dietz, Audrey Morris Goff, Joni Goldberg, Elizabeth Kleiner, Carolyn Kelley North, Lise Orr, Kari Oeltjen, Barb Sageman, Shawn Sherlock, Kirsten Stephenson and Kerri White.
