Realtors Association of the Palm Beaches makes donation to children’s shoe nonprofit
The Realtors Association of the Palm Beaches recently donated more than $4,600 to Shuzz, a nonprofit that provides new shoes to poverty-stricken children worldwide.
The funds were raised through the Association’s Ready, Set, Glow! Pub & Grub event that included stops at O’Shea’s Irish Pub, Roxy’s Rooftop, Banko Cantina, E.R. Bradley’s and Subculture Coffee.
“Our members are very active in the community and love to give back through volunteering and fundraising efforts,” said Dionna Hall, RAPB CEO. “This event was a great example of their hard work with close to 70 attendees at this first-time event that raised money for a terrific cause.”
SHUZZ (pronounced shoes) functions off support from volunteers who help provide new shoes to children in poverty-stricken areas around the world. The foundation distributes thousands of shoes free of charge to children.
