Zac Posen, Neiman Marcus and many generous sponsors and guests came together for an elegant evening to help children in poverty-stricken regions
Boca Raton, FL – March 25, 2014 – The SHUZZ Fund, a non-profit organization that provides shoes to children in poverty-stricken areas, announced that its annual 2014 SHUZZ | ART | FASHION show raised $175,000 on March 22, 2014 at Signature Flight Support in Boca Raton, FL. Famous American fashion designer Zac Posen brought his brilliant Fall Collection to Southern Florida for a remarkable evening filled with auction, entertainment, fashion and fun.
On a yearly basis, Shuzz donates thousands of shoes to underprivileged children in the United States and abroad. What’s more, Shuzz is a 100 percent volunteer run organization and the majority of shoes donated are placed on the feet of the recipient by those volunteers.
The event was made possible by Zac Posen, Neiman Marcus, Signature Flight Support, Celebrity Cruises and many more supporting sponsors. Guests celebrated giving back on the evening of March 22. The event featured a cocktail reception, silent and live auction presentations and a fashion show, drawing nearly 1,000 attendees. All proceeds from ticket sales were donated directly to the Shuzz Fund’s charitable giving.
“The SHUZZ Fund is really a remarkable organization. Its goal to provide shoes to children in poverty stricken communities in the U.S. and abroad is admirable and I’m thrilled to be able to support them by bringing my 2014 Fall Collection to Boca Raton,” said Zac Posen. “When I was approached to do the show, there wasn’t a question in my mind that I had to be involved.”
